The Presbyterian Church of Trinidad & Tobago

Steward Programme 2026

The Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago (PCTT), Office of the General Secretary of Synod, opens applications for the Annual General Meeting of the Synod of the PCTT 2026 Steward Programme.

The PCTT invites young Presbyterians from across Trinidad and Tobago to apply for the PCTT 2026 Steward Programme, scheduled to take place from 23-25 April 2026. This exciting program offers a unique opportunity for youth ages 18 to 35 to engage with other Presbyterian youths and actively contribute to the work of the PCTT. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2026.

Participants in the Steward Programme will be part of a diverse and dynamic community of young Presbyterians from throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Together, they will bring their faith, experiences, and vision to create an enriching experience of fellowship and collaboration. The Steward Program for youths will focus on developing leadership, responsibility, and service among young people. The program aims to develop skills that empower young people to assume leadership, care, and responsibility roles within their home church and community. This context views stewards as role models and agents of positive change.

Rich Presbyterian experience

The 2026 Steward Program includes a comprehensive on-site formation at Paradise Hill, San Fernando. Three (3) Saturdays prior to the Synod's AGM, stewards will participate in virtual/in-person workshops, discussions, and activities that delve into the history, values, and mission of the PCTT. This learning period prepares participants to fully understand their role and make meaningful contributions during the meeting. The Programme aims to provide young people with the necessary tools to apply their insights to their local churches and communities, promoting unity and action. The Steward Program is more than a time of service—it is a response to Christ’s call to be coworkers in the ministry of reconciliation and peace-making. We encourage young people to contribute their unique gifts, perspectives, and faith stories to this gathering, aiming to return home as ambassadors of the PCTT vision.
