Good morning church family! I have some exciting news for you all!
Get ready for a day full of fun, laughter, creativity and teamwork – because we’re inviting YOU to be part of our Treasure Hunt!
This isn’t just any ordinary treasure hunt – it’s a high-energy adventure designed to test your wits, bring out your creativity, and most importantly, help us enjoy great fellowship while having a blast!
What is a Treasure Hunt?
It’s a fun, team-based event where each group hops into a car, follows a trail of clever clues, completes hilarious challenges, and collects quirky treasures along the way – all while racing (SAFELY!) against the clock.
Think of it like Amazing Race meets scavenger hunt, with a bit of church-style twist and loads of humour!
The Schedule – Be on time!
Meeting Time St. Augustine Girls’ High School: 5th July 2025 7:00 AM sharp!
This is where we’ll kick off the event – and yes, we’ll be judging your team outfits here before we even start. So dress wild, dress bold – whether you want to come as a superhero, a biblical prophet, a clown, or a Christmas tree – go big or go home, because there are prizes to be won!
Briefing: 7:30 AM (5 points if present)
This is important! You’ll be briefed by the Treasure Hunt Leader on how it all works:
- How to solve the clues
- How to collect the treasures
- What to do at each location
- How to film short, funny 10-second videos at each stop.
- Being late means losing points. Being on time? You’ll start with bonus points – and in a treasure hunt, every point counts!
Treasure Hunt Start: 8:00 AM
Finish Line: 1:00PM sharp at Naparima College Grounds.
Team Details
Teams must have at least 2 and no more than 4 people.
Tech Requirements
At least one person per team MUST have:
- Mobile data
- Phone storage
- An Instagram account to post the challenge clips
What will you be doing?
- Solving clever and cryptic clues that lead to real-life locations
- Completing mini challenges – some silly, some smart – all fun
- Filming funny 10-second videos for Instagram (yes, we’ll be watching!)
- Collecting random odd treasures – these could be anything: an old school shirt, Christmas lights, a broken umbrella… so think fast, call a friend, knock on a door – get creative!
- Every challenge, clue, and treasure collected = points! The team with the most points at the end WINS and gets crowned champions of the treasure hunt!

Best Dressed Team – So come out in something absolutely WILD!
And of course, the Ultimate Car Photo Quest and Treasure Hunt Challenge Trophy!
That’s right – the winning team will not only take home a challenge trophy but will also earn bragging rights for a whole year – or at least until our next treasure hunt.
