The Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago extends warmest congratulations to our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters in Trinidad and Tobago and globally on the election of the new Holy
Father, Pope Leo XIV. We offer special greetings at this time of jubilation and this moment of renewal and hope.
The election of a new Pope is a sacred milestone, rich in tradition and spiritual significance. We pray that the Holy Spirit may continue to guide the new pontiff in wisdom, compassion, and faithfulness as he leads in these transformative times.
As fellow members of the Body of Christ, we stand with the Catholic Church, united in prayer and in the shared call to be witnesses of the Gospel, servants of justice, and bearers of peace in our nation and our world. May Pope Leo XIV's leadership inspire unity among all Christians and a renewed commitment to the mission of Christ.
